A LETTER TO POTENTIAL MEMBERS OF ACU

Dear Nominee:
Governor Huntsman supports the formation of the Autism Council of Utah (ACU). He recognizes the need to maintain and improve services and resources for people with autism in the State. The ACU is an independent Council formed by a core group of parents and professionals to meet the growing need of people and families affected by autism.
We invite you to apply to be a member of the Autism Council of Utah. Membership on this Council will involve a commitment of two meetings a year of the full Council and additional opportunities to participate on work groups related to special projects. Member participation is crucial to the success of the mission of the ACU:
The Autism Council of Utah is an independent Council working to foster collaboration, communication, and learning among families and agencies. Our aim is to promote access to resources and responsible information for individuals of all ages who have, or are affected by, autism or related conditions. The Council will accomplish this by supporting statewide partnerships to collaborate on special projects, research and training.
We welcome you to apply to be part if this exciting endeavor.
Sincerely,
