About the event
The Utah MHIDD (Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities) Project at Utah State University’s Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice is excited to host Mental Health & You: Bridging Mind and Body, a free, in-person workshop on Friday, August 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the USU Salt Lake Center.
This event is designed primarily for self-advocates, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and disability service providers. Participants will engage in interactive workshops focused on practical skills to support well-being while connecting with community resources and peers. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
We would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity with clients, families, and group homes you support, staff members, and others who may benefit. Attached is a flyer that you are welcome to distribute through email, newsletters, bulletin boards, or other communication channels.
Registration is free, but space is limited to 100 participants.
