Welcome to the 2024 HOME Run – an exciting event created for folks with disabilities, their families, and their awesome caregivers! We're here to have a great time while learning about healthy ways to live.

Imagine a big outdoor adventure where everyone can take part, no matter how they get around. This special Fun Run is like a friendly race where you can walk, jog, or roll with your wheelchair.

But wait, there's more! The HOME Run is all about being healthy and strong. Along the way, you'll see spots with water to keep you hydrated, and we'll have friendly folks cheering you on. As you move through the course, you'll discover fun activities, neat facts about good foods and how to stay active. It's like learning while you play!

The best part? You can team up with your family and caregivers to earn tickets to win prizes. Together, you'll make awesome memories and show that we're all in this together. When you cross the finish line, you'll feel like a champion, and you'll know more about how to stay fit and happy.

EVENT DATE: Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 09:30 AM to 12:00 PM.  The run will start at 10:00 AM.

EVENT LOCATION: Riverton City Park at 1452 West 12600 South Riverton, UT 84065 in the Large Pavilion

RAFFLE INFORMATION: over 30 prizes will be raffled at the end of the event from local vendors!!  Must be present to win. Raffle tickets will be awarded based on participation!  For information on specific prizes, please join our Facebook group: University of Utah Neurobehavior HOME Program.

RACE FEE: includes a t-shirt, medal, and snacks.

• Free - members of the HOME program or individuals with disabilities.
• $15 - family members, caregivers, or community members.  This fee assists in keeping the race free for participants with disabilities.

EVENT INFORMATION: The University of Utah’s HMHI HOME program is hosting the 8th annual HOME RUN Fun Run. All proceeds from the event will be directly used to allow no cost participation for individuals with disabilities. Each preregistered participant will receive a medal, t-shirt, snacks, and access to fun run festivities.

Notes:

• Register by Friday, September 6th to guarantee shirt size.
• Registering after this day does not guarantee a shirt or a shirt in accurate size.
• Extra shirts will be available on the day of the event until supplies run out.
