The Salt Lake City School District Board of Education wants to provide another opportunity for parents of students receiving special education services to provide input as they seek a new superintendent.

This meeting is specially for parents who have students receiving special education services.

As you may know, the Salt Lake City School District Board of Education is in the process of searching for a new superintendent to lead the school district.

The board recognizes that selecting a superintendent is one of our most important functions. In order to be successful in selecting the best individual, the board is interested in gaining input from you.

I am writing today on behalf of the board to ask for your help by providing feedback for us to consider in our search. Your opinion and representation are important to us. We invite you to attend a meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 6:30 PM. 

You can access the meeting using the Zoom link at the bottom of this email. If you are unable to attend the meeting at the scheduled time, please reach out to me and I will work to find another meeting for you to participate in.

In this meeting, you will be introduced to consultants from Ray & Associates who have been employed by the board to assist us in our superintendent search. The consultant will present an overview of the search process and criteria for the board's consideration. The consultant will ask for your input and feedback on qualities that you value in our next superintendent. This information is essential to the success of the search process, and I’m grateful for your support
